Edwin Rentas

Edwin Rentas, 56, of Midland died Sunday, Nov. 11, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012, at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Chapel. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
Edwin was born May 1, 1956, in Ponce, Puerto Rico, to Esther (Berrios) and Euclides Rentas. He worked at the Federal Bureau of Prisons in Big Spring and was a veteran of the United States Army. He spent the last three years as an escort with Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Survivors include wife, Lourdes Rentas; son, Edwin Rentas Jr.; daughter, Lori Rentas, all of Midland; and sister, Madeline Rentas of Clearwater, Fla.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
