February 22, 2011

Big Spring elementary students will show off their singing skills during the annual All-City Choir concert, set for 7 p.m. today in the high school auditorium.

Admission is free to the event.

The All-City Choir is comprised of 120 BSISD students in grades 4 through 6 who were selected for the honor by their respective music teachers, BSHS Choir Director Anna Castaneda O’Brien said.

The group, which will be conducted by Junior High Choir Director Randall Capshaw, will perform about seven American folk music selections, she added.
