Elizabeth “Grandma” Pearson, 83, of Big Spring, died Saturday May 17, 2014, at her residence. Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Monday at Myers & Smith Chapel with burial following at Trinity Memorial Park Peace Chapel.

She was born Aug. 26, 1930, to Mary and Fred Mallard in Fitchburg, Mass. She was a housewife and mother of five daughters, three sons and one step-daughter.

She is survived by five daughters, Donna Lee of Big Spring, Sharon Pearson of Abilene, Sandra Hayman and husband Jimmy of Midland, Rhonda Paredez and husband Ismael of Big Spring and Pamela Harris and husband James of Big Spring; one step-daughter, Sheila Palmer and husband Tom of Bryson, Texas; three sons, Robert Pearson and wife Terri of Big Spring, Jon Pearson and wife, Lisa of Big Spring and Tim Pearson and wife Kendra of Midland; one brother, Lanny Mallard of Leominster, Mass; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two grandsons; one great-grandson; six brothers; and three sisters.

Those serving as pallbearers are Trey Paredez, Josh Paredez, Alex Paredez, Dillion Hayman, Robert Lee and David Lee. Honorary pallbearers are Robert Pearson, Jr., Bryan Pearson and Brandon Pearson.
