Elise Harvell

Elise Harvell died Jan. 15, 2014, in Plano, Texas. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Harvell, on Dec. 9, 2009. Her body will be donated to science at UT Southwestern Willed Body program in Dallas.

She is survived by one sister, Lillian Currathers of Grand Prairie, Texas, and a sister-in-law, Deianne Harvell of Sand Springs, Texas; two sons, Edward Harvell of Canyon, Texas and David Harvell of Abilene, Texas; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren

She was born in Scurry County on her parents' farm on April 4, 1931, and married Tommy Harvelll, May 15, 1947. They lived in Big Spring until 1986, when they moved to Blackwell, Texas. In 1993, they moved to Oak Creek Lake where they lived until she moved to Plano in 2013. She worked for First Federal Savings until she retired in 1981. She also worked for Wachenhut in Brante, Texas until 2000. died Jan. 15, 2014, in Plano, Texas. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
