Elizabeth Garcia Jimenez, 72, of Big Spring, died Tuesday March 4, 2014, at Scenic Mountain Medical Center. Vigil services will be 7 p.m. Friday at Myers & Smith Chapel. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with Deacon Johnny Arguello officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Olive Memorial Park.

She was born April 17, 1941 to Margarita and Guillermo Garcia in Pope, Texas. She was a lifetime resident of Howard County. She worked 26 years as a seamstress for Walls Industries.

She is survived by her partner of 25 years, Robelio Cabellero of Big Spring; one son, Rosendo Jimenez of Big Spring; four daughters, Sylvia Arguello of Big Spring, Rachel Salvato of Marlin, Texas, Becky Coker of Big Spring and Jolanda Gonzales of Big Spring; two sisters, Maggie Templeton and her husband of West Virginia, and Emilia and husband Rosalio Montejano of Iraan, Texas; one brother, Tony Garcia and Yolanda of West Virginia; 13 grandchildren; and 37 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Sally Jimenez and brothers, Adolfo Garcia and Willie Garcia Jr. Arrangements are by Myers & Smith Funeral Home and Chapel. Please pay your respects online at www.myersandsmith.com
