Elizabeth (Libby) Jones Jacobus
1937-2011
Libby Jacobus died peacefully at home, surrounded by her family Dec. 1, 2011. She grew up in Big Spring and graduated from Big Spring High School in 1954. She lived in Midland-Odessa and Dallas, and some years in Arkansas and New Mexico. She attended Christian College in Missouri, TCU and the University of New Mexico graduate school. She was a member of the sorority Kappa Alpha Theta and the Junior Leagues of Midland and Little Rock, Ark.
She is survived by her children, Ann Jacobus Kordahl, William R. Jacobus, Sarah Lacy Jacobus, Todd H. Jacobus and their families; eight grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter; as well as the Brock and Jones families.
She is predeceased by her parents, Truman and Dotsy Jones of Big Spring, and in 1941, by John Allen Brock of Abilene.
