Ella 'Bea" Fishback

Ella 'Bea' Fishback, 83, of Coahoma died Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2012, in a Big Spring assisted living facility. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 18, 2012, at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with Jerrod Fishback officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2012, at the funeral home.

She was born July 9, 1929, in Hazle Dell (Comanche County), Texas, and married William Albert "Bill" Fishback Dec. 30, 1948, in Brownwood, Texas. He preceded her in death Feb. 4, 2009.

Bea and her late husband, Bill, came to Coahoma in 1953 from Gustine. She was a Christian homemaker and loved to sing for her Lord and for many years taught youth and lady Sunday School at First Baptist Church, Coahoma. She owned and operated Bea's Flowers in Coahoma.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Billy Don and Cecil Fishback of Brownwood and their sons, Chase of Austin and Chris of Houston; Benny Ray and Susan Fishback of Big Spring and their sons, Justin of Austin and Adam of Beaumont; one daughter-in-Law, Jeanine Fishback of Big Spring and her son Jerrod Fishback and wife Amanda of Tyler and her daughter, Megan Fishback of Phoenix, Ariz.; and three great-grandchildren, Victoria, Ella and Benjamen Fishback of Tyler. She is also survived by sisters, Jane Lawson of Fort Worth and Rae Trujillo of Georgetown.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, Sterling Cornelius and Ella Neal Glassgow Lynch; brothers, Rochelle, John and S.C. Lynch; sisters, Camilla Lynch, her identical twin, Genevieve Tatum and Tauline Moore; and one son, Bobby Gene Fishback.
