Engagement: Belew-Dooley

Sherri L. and William J. Wigington and Ronald V. Below want to announce the engagement of their daughter Halea Marie Belew to Chad Allen Dooley, son of Timothy Edward Dooley and Teresa Gail Dooley of Sherman, Texas.

Halea is the granddaughter of Mildred Callihan and the late Ross Callihan of Big Spring; William Belew and the late Martha Belew; Burnel Wigington and the late Robert Wigington of Big Spring; Ronnie and Ann Hamilton of Roswell, NM and special “Grand-Aunt” Alice Howard of Lamesa. She is the great granddaughter of the late Wayne “Cooter” and Geraldine Smith of Lamesa; Nadine Hamilton and the late Victor Hamilton; the late E.G. and Mary Cauble of St. Lawrence and the late Samuel and Sally Callihan of Big Spring.

Chad is the grandson of Ollie and Pat Dooley of Tom Bean, Texas; Gloria Beard of Denison, Texas and Jerry and Maxine Beard.

She is a 2005 graduate of Forsan High School. She attended Howard College, Grayson Community College and graduated from Southeastern Oklahoma State University Dec. 22, 2010 with a bachelor of science in education. She is currently employed as an ESL teacher's aide at Fred Douglas in Sherman, Texas.

Chad is a 2004 graduate of Sherman High School and received his firefighters certificate in 2007. He is co-owner of Nautilus Fitness Center in Gainsville, Texas.

The couple plans to exchange wedding vows on June 18, 2011 in Sherman.
