Epefania Rios Amaro

Epefania Rios Amaro, 88, of Big Spring died Sunday, March 31, 2013, at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 2, 2013, at Holy Trinity Catholic Parish. Interment will follow at Mt. Olive Memorial Park.
Vigil services will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, April 1, 2013, at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel.
She was born Jan. 25, 1925, in Gonzales, Texas. She married Pedro Amaro and he preceded her in death in 1959.
She enjoyed cooking, crocheting, gardening and loving her family and was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Parish.
Survivors include three daughters, Maria Jojola and husband Larry, Petra Oliva and husband Roberto, all of Big Spring and Carol Garcia of San Antonio; three sons, Pete Amaro and wife Mari, Johnny Garcia and wife Vera and Guadalupe Castillo, all of Big Spring; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and great-great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, Salamoe and Juana (Ramirez) Rios; one brother, Faustino Rios; and one sister, Felicita Rios Paredez.
