Eric Kelly, 26, of Dallas, Texas, was called Home by our Heavenly Father, Friday, Nov. 15, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 22, 2013, at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel in Big Spring.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 21, 2013, at the funeral home.
Eric was born Dec. 21,1986, in Midland. He graduated from Big Spring High School, and then Howard College with an associateâ€™s degree.
His courage and unwavering faith allowed him to â€śfight the good fight, finish the race and keep his faithâ€ť throughout his life. Eric faced each new challenge with a positive attitude and a smile on his face.
Eric made a lasting impression on everyone he met and was a â€śbright spotâ€ť in the lives of those who cared for him over the years. He was known for his sense of humor, his compassion towards others, and his kind and gentle spirit.
Eric loved to learn and sought to gain new knowledge whenever possible. He enjoyed working with numbers and was pursuing a bachelorâ€™s degree in accounting, with dreams of becoming a CEO for a major corporation in the future. He also enjoyed sports, trivia/game shows, reading, and photography.
We love and miss you Eric! We were very blessed to have you in our lives for 26 years; you will remain in our hearts forever. This is not goodbye. . . it is so long until we are reunited in Heaven.
Survivors include his mother, Cynthia A.
