Erlinda L. Fierro, 82, died Monday, Jan. 16, 2012, at St. Luke’s Hospital in San Antonio, Texas. Services will be held Thursday, Jan. 26, 2012, at 10 a.m. at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 7893 Grissom Rd., San Antonio, Texas, 78250.
She was born Nov. 25, 1929, in Big Spring, Texas, the first of 10 children born to the late Jose H. Lopez and Juanita H. Lopez.
She is survived by her son, Moses L. Fierro and wife Debbie Fierro; daughter, Adelinda F. Pena and husband Fred G. Pena; along with sisters, Amparo Tijerina, Josie Hernandez, Beatrice Rodriquez; brothers, Ramond Lopez, Manuel Lopez, Alberto Lopez; 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Though she will be greatly missed by her loved ones, she will be greeted by those who have preceded her, including her husband, Merejildo Fierro Sr., father, Jose H. Lopez; mother, Juanita H. Lopez; sister Luz Aleman; brother Jose Lopez; and son, Merejildo Fierro.
