FISD breaks ground on elementary

February 18, 2014

FORSAN — Officials with the Forsan Independent School District officially turned over ground Monday at the site of the new elementary school.

“This is huge for Forsan ISD. By the time we get done with the construction of the elementary and some of the remodel work of the secondary campus, our facilities will look completely different from what they do right now,” said Randy Johnson, superintendent, following the official ground-breaking ceremony which drew a large crowd and several Howard County officials to the event.
