Forsan ISD to consider buying two homes

September 7, 2013

FORSAN — School trustees here will consider purchasing housing for school personnel when they hold their monthly meeting at 7 p.m. Monday in the administration wing board room.
Forsan Independent School District currently provides 14 “extremely” low-rent homes for extra-duty personnel — coaches, band directors and other teachers who spend a lot of extra time on campus. Now, the school board will explore the possibility of adding two more homes to the list.
Superintendent Randy Johnson said trustees recently requested proposals for two three-bedroom pre-manufactured homes and will examine the replies during Monday's meeting.
