Frances Billalba McKiski, 60, of Big Spring, died Sunday, March 9, 2014, at Midland Memorial Hospital. Vigil services will be 7 p.m. Wednesday at Myers & Smith Chapel. Funeral mass will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with Msgr. Bernard L. Gully officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Olive Memorial Park.
She was born April 10, 1953, in Big Spring to Rosalia and Ruben Billalba. She was a lifetime resident of Big Spring. She graduated from Big Spring High School and Valti Reeves Cosmetology School. She was a hairdresser in Big Spring for more than 35 years and owned House of Charm.
She is survived by two daughters, Denise Gonzales of Midland and Denita Zamora and husband, Robert, of Odessa; two sons, Travis McKiski of Big Spring and Mark McKiski and wife, Corina, of Big Spring; five sisters, Beatrice Stevens of Lubbock, Mary Lou Lujan and husband, Santos, of Big Spring, Adelina Correa and husband, Albert, of Canyon, Nora Paul and husband, Peter, of Las Vegas, and Delia Cruz and husband, Mike, of Amarillo; two brothers, Ruben Billalba of Grand Prairie and Tommy Billalba and wife, Olga, of Big Spring; and nine grandchildren, Ryan Robles, Patrick Robles, Esian Fuentes, Cecily Zamora, Kierra Zamora, Timothy Zamora, Cheyanne Marie Faith McKiski, Travis Russell Edward McKiski and Leonicio Benard Ortiz.
Those serving as pallbearers are Paul Gonzales, Ryan Robles, Patrick Robles, Andrew Correa, Peter Paul, Michael Cruz and Tre Lujan. Honorary pallbearers are Timothy Zamora, Zac Bennett and Eaison Fuentes.
