Gary F. Thurman

Gary F. Thurman, 65, of Sand Springs, was born on Jan. 20, 1946, in Seymour, Texas and passed from this world into a better place on Oct. 10, 2011. A private internment will be held at a later date.

Gary married Sharon Williams on Jan. 20, 1971, in Breckenridge. He was a carpenter and he and his wife did remodeling for many families in the area for over 20 years. Gary was proud of his service in the U.S. Air Force. He will be greatly missed and will remain in our hearts forever.

Survivors include his wife, Sharon Thurman of Sand Springs; one son, Rockie Harber of San Antonio; one sister, Barbara Tucker and husband, Jerry of Wichita Falls; two grandchildren, Trennis and Dailen Harber; two nephews and one niece.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Alton and Corene (Worth) Thurman.
