Glen E. Davis, 64, of Big Spring died Sunday, Nov. 11, 2012, in a Lubbock hospital. At his request, his body was donated to medical science. Memorial services will be held in conjunction with his father, O.A. Davis, at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012, at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with Rick Cunningham, minister of 14th and Main Church of Christ, officiating.
The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16, 2012, at the funeral home.
He was born Oct. 16, 1948, in Brownwood, Texas. He graduated from Big Spring High School in 1965. He resided in Plano for a number of years before returning to Big Spring. He worked at the Veterans Administration Medical Center for 30 years.
He was a member of 14th and Main Church of Christ.
Survivors include his father, O.A. Davis of Big Spring; two sisters, Joann Davis of Lubbock and Janet Hilbers and husband Don of Idalou; and several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by his mother, Wandalene Davis; and a great-great-niece.
The family suggests memorials be made to 14th and Main Church of Christ, 1401 Main St., Big Spring, Texas 79720.
