Gloria Jean Watson, 61, of Big Spring died Thursday, Dec. 13, 2012, at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 17, 2012, at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with Eddy Pitchford officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Olive Memorial Park.

Gloria was born Aug. 9, 1951, in Loraine, Texas, and married Dennis Watson Nov. 10, 1971, in Snyder. She graduated from Snyder High School and moved to Big Spring in 1991 and worked as coordinating supervisor for West Texas Centers. She loved to read and crochet.

Survivors include husband, Dennis Watson of Big Spring; two sons, Michael Watson and wife Jacqlynn of Big Spring and Steven Watson and wife Rhonda of Midland; four brothers, Terry Smith and wife Billie of Lubbock, Charles Smith and wife Jean of Carlsbad, N.M., Curtis Smith and wife Marilyn of Fort Worth, and Tommy Smith and wife Lisa of Snyder; one sister, JoAnn Mitchell and husband Tim of Weatherford; six grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Virginia (Brunkhurst) Smith; and one infant brother.
