Grand jury returns drug indictments

More than a dozen area residents were indicted by a Howard County grand jury this week, with numerous true-bills for charges of possession of a controlled substance.

Cases were presented by District Attorney Hardy Wilkerson and Assistant District Attorney Robin Orr, as the grand jury indicted 16 people on 25 separate charges during Tuesday's session.

Among those indicted were:

• Holston Banks III, 21, currently being held at the Howard County Detention Center, evading arrest (third-degree felony) and injury to a child (third-degree felony).
• Martin Dominguez, 25, of 406 E. 10th St., possession of a controlled substance (state jail felony).
• Francisco Gene Reyes, 21, of 1 Courtney Place Apt. 209, possession of a controlled substance (state jail felony).
• Jolanda Jimenez Gonzales, 43, of 2506 March Circle, possession of a controlled substance (state jail felony).
• Larry Dale King, 29, currently being held at the Howard County Detention Center, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle (state jail felony).
• Latasha Woodson, 33, of 2512 Fairchild, possession of a controlled substance (state jail felony).
• Michael James Bullinger, 24, of 209 Sourdough Rd. in Coahoma, possession of a controlled substance (state jail felony).
• Peter Manuel Candelaria, 25, of 1217 W. Third St., possession of a controlled substance (second-degree felony, enhanced) and burglary of a building (two counts, both state jail felonies).
• Michael Wilson Carl, 29, of Midland, possession of a controlled substance (state jail felony) and evading arrest (third-degree felony).
• Tony Mojica Castellano, 39, of 301 E. Leatherwood, failure to register as a sex offender (third-degree felony).
• Eric Wayne Deal, 46, of 5700 Cedar Rd. Apt. 20, delivery of a controlled substance (first-degree felony, enhanced) and delivery of a controlled substance (second-degree felony, enhanced).
• Ashley Duran, 26, of Abilene, possession of marijuana (state jail felony).
• Jerry Mitchell Marcon, 20, of Snyder, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle (two counts, both state jail felonies).
• David Margarito Moreno, 36, of 601 Dealey, driving while intoxicated (third-degree felony).
• Andrea Marie Robledo, 21, of 1504 E. Fifth St., possession of a controlled substance (third-degree felony).
• Zack Monroe Turman, 35, of 3509 E. I-20 Apt. 29, driving while intoxicated (third-degree felony) and burglary of a habitation (three counts, all second-degree felonies).
