Green among Steers looking for success at Region I-3A track meet

April 21, 2014

On the track, Charles Green sprinted down the course at Rotary Field on Thursday with more than enough speed to cross the finish line in first place. On paper, however, he didn’t fair quite as well as District 3-4A Area Track and Field Championships.
A scorer’s mistake left Green listed as the seventh-place finisher in the 100-meter hurdles – and a long way from qualifying for the Region I-3A Track and Field Championships.
In the end, not even being seventh on a piece of paper could stop the BSHS senior from making his second straight trip to the regional meet.
