Greg Hogg

Greg Hogg, 61, of Big Spring died Thursday, Feb. 6, 2014, at Scenic Mountain Medical Center. Private family services will be at a later date.
He was born Sept. 8, 1952, in San Jose, Calif., to Geraldine and Harold Hogg. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army where he went to Vietnam as a helicopter crew chief and later was stationed at Fort Eustis, Va., training helicopter technicians.
He came to Big Spring in 1971. He married Cathy Parsons in 1980 in Big Spring. He had been a truck driver with Western Container until retiring due to ill health.
He is survived by his wife, Cathey Hogg of Big Spring; five daughters, Diana Hegg and husband Chris of Hawthorne, Nev., Jessica Tully and husband Michael of Midland, Misty Bosley and husband Matt Colver, Madison Bosley and Alexandra Bosley, all of Big Spring; one son, Chris Hogg and wife Misty of Coahoma; five brothers, Michael Hogg of Bremerton, Wash., Jeff Hobbs, Victor Hobbs and Vince Hobbs, all of Las Vegas, Nev., and Sgt. First Class John Colvin of Fort Lewis, Wash.; three sisters, Laura Colvin of Arkansas, Janie Baker of Valley Mills, Texas, and Elizabeth Hobbs of Bremerton, Wash.; and nine grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Willie Hogg.
