Gregory William Flynn, 52, passed away Feb. 18, 2012, at N.E. Methodist Hospital in San Antonio, Texas.
Mr. Flynn was born Sept. 3, 1959, in Trinidad, West Indies, to William and Monica Flynn. Greg attended Presentation College, San Fernando, Trinidad. He moved to the Untied States in 1981.
Greg was known for his unyielding work ethic and could accomplish anything he set his mind to do. Most importantly, he had an undying and unwavering love for family and friends. People knew him best for his zest for life, as well as being the "life of the party." Greg loved animals, especially his numerous birds and dogs, Bruce, Trini and Tobi.
He was married to his best friend, Kelley, for the last 13 years of life. They built their lives together in Cibolo, Texas, where they made many friends and happy memories.
He is survived by his wife, Kelley Flynn; daughters, Alicia Lewis, Crystal Hull and husband Robert and Lauren Williams; his mother, Monica "Monix" Flynn; brothers, Bryan and Eamon Flynn and wife Liz; sisters Moira Miller and husband Robert, Sharon Marfleet and husband Arend, Charmaine Mac Lean and husband Robert, Jennifer Augustus and husband Brent; his precious grandchildren, Avery, Reagan and Robby Hull, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and a multitude of special friends.
He is preceded in death by his father, William "Bunts" Flynn; and brother, Christopher Flynn.
A visitation with rosary will be held Thursday, Feb. 23, 2012, from noon until 2 p.m. Funeral services will be held Friday, Feb. 24, 2012, from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. Both services will be held at 6500 Interstate Highway 35, San Antonio, Texas 78218.
