Halloween safe stops

Below is a list of supervised “safe stops” children can enjoy on Thursday, Oct. 31.

• H-E-B Grocery Store, 2000 Gregg, 5-8 p.m. Hot dogs, soft drinks and H-E-Buddy.
• Spring Creek Fellowship, Harvest Event, 5-7 p.m. at Spring Town Plaza. Free games and food.
• Monster Mash Festival and Trunk or Treat, St. Thomas Hall, 605 N. Main, 5-9 p.m., music and treats, games and prizes, 18-foot centipede, sponsored by the North Side Movement.
• Sequia Tubing Testers, 4014 Parkway, 5:30 p.m.-9 p.m.
• Marcy House, 2301 Wasson Road, 5:30 p.m.-?
• Holy Trinity Catholic Church Youth,1009 Hearne St., 5:30-7:30 p.m.
• Cancer Crushers Relay For Life team Halloween Carnival, Malone and Hogan Clinic parking lot, 5:30-8:30 p.m. This fundraiser will include various booths, train rides and a concesion stand.
• Alive in Christ Lutheran Church, 2805 Lynn, 6-8 p.m.
• Paul's Custom PCs, 1911 Scurry (formerly on Ent Drive), 6 p.m. to midnight, trick or treating, lights, decorations, fun.
• First Christian Church, Trunk and Treat, 911 Goliad, 6-7 p.m. Co-sponsored by St. Mary's Episcopal Church.
• Forsan Baptist Church, Forsan, Trunk of Treats, 6-7 p.m. Treats and games for children.
• First Church of the Nazarene, 1400 Lancaster, Trunk or Treat, 6-8 p.m. in the parking lot.
• Hillcrest Baptist Church, 2000 W. FM 700, Trunk or Treat, 6-8 p.m. in the parking lot. Bring your camera and take your photo with the pumpkin cut out. Free Bibles.
• First Baptist Church, Fall Festival, 705 W. FM 700, 6-8 p.m., Family Life Center. Food and games. Donations of canned goods appreciated. No scary or revealing costumes, please.
• Baptist Temple Church, Trunk or Treat, 6-8 p.m., 400 E. 11th Place, bean bag toss, duck pond, fishing booth, ring toss and cake walk.
• Full Gospel Fellowship, 309 South Benton St., 7 p.m.

Also, some businesses will be handing out treats. They include Just Peachy Cafe from 5-8 p.m. and both Sonic locations beginning at 6 p.m.
