Harold Hall, 92, of Big Spring, Texas died Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2013, at Parkview Nursing and Rehab. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Myers & Smith Chapel with Ken McIntosh, minister of First Christian Church, officiating. Burial will be at Trinity Memorial Park.

He was born Feb. 3, 1921, in Eola, Kan., to Blanche and George Hall. He was a veteran of the Army Air Corps during World War II in England. He married Dorothy Hayward in 1942, and she preceded him in death on June, 3, 1997. He later married Emma Jean Johnson on Feb. 14, 1998. He owned and operated Hall Auto Parts, later Hall Air Cooled Engine. He served on the city council, board of Hall-Bennett Hospital, past president of the Country Club, and was on the board of Citizens Credit Union. He was a member of First Christian Church and was a lifetime resident of Big Spring.

He is survived by his wife, Emma Jean Hall of Big Spring; four sons, Donnie Hall of Houston, Howard Hall and his wife Rebecca of Grapevine, Texas, Mike Hall and his wife Barbara and Jimmy Johnson and his wife Beverly, all of Big Spring; two daughters, Kathy Johnson and Jeanie Knocke and her husband Richard, all of Big Spring; ten grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Ward Hall and one sister, Harriett Reeves.

The family will be at 901 Mountain Park, Big Spring, Texas.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Johnson, Brian Johnson, Kevin Hall, Tyler Hall, Matthew Hall, Zac Hall and Jacob Verberne.
