Hawks clinch playoffs after taking three of four games vs. Luna

The Howard College baseball team hosted Luna Community College in a four-game conference series over the weekend, and came out with three victories which ensured their spot in the playoffs.
“It feels really good to clinch the playoffs," said Martinez. "Although we will be playing for seeding next weekend, we can still go in a little more relaxed knowing that we are in.”
Next weekend, Howard College will take on New Mexico Junior College in a four-game conference series that will determine the seeds for playoffs. The first two games will take in New Mexico starting at 12:00 p.m. The last two will be held in Big Spring at Jack Barber field and will begin at 12:00 p.m.
