HC to expand in San Angelo

January 5, 2012

Howard College is expanding its presence in San Angelo.

HC officials have announced their intentions to accommodate the college’s fastest-growing campus by increasing classroom and lab space in San Angelo.

Taxpayers can breathe easy, though — no tax dollars will be used in the expansion, officials promise.

Rapid growth in San Angelo — enrollment there has more than doubled in the past few years — means Howard is outgrowing its current quarters at the West Texas Training Center.
