HC trustees approve bid for dental lab renovation

May 20, 2014

The Howard College board of trustees on Monday approved a $154,858 bid from Basic IDIQ of San Angelo to renovate a dental hygiene lab to include a simulation lab.

This is part of a three-phase plan to enhance the growing dental hygiene program. Monies for the expansion came from a private donation from local resident Marie Hall.

“It will be similar to the nursing lab where students will be able to practice. Very few other colleges have these facilities,” said College President Dr. Cheryl Sparks.
