Hight to speak here Monday

March 31, 2012

Internationally known inspirational speaker and artist Richart Hight will be at Hall Center for the Arts in a 7 p.m. performance Monday as part of Howard College Foundation's speaker series.
The event is free to the public but a ticket is required for admission due to limited seating. Tickets can be obtained by calling Howard College at 264-5063 or by visiting the reception desk at the Old Main building on campus.
Tickets will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis.
As he draws artwork choreographed to selected pieces of music, Hight creatively communicates a message of positive attitude, leadership, inspiration and motivation.
His work has graced museums, corporate and private collections and he has been featured on ABC, NBC, CBS and FOX networks.
“We are excited about our presentation this semester,” said Howard College President Dr. Cheryl T. Sparks. “Mr. Hight will bring a new component of artistry to the series that we haven’t seen before and I am certain the audience will be entertained as well as informed.”
Each semester the Howard College Foundation provides the free event to the public to bring new cultural opportunities to the area and support the creation of a college-going culture.
