Hollie Natalie Peurifoy, 90, of Big Spring died Wednesday, June 19, 2013, in an Amarillo hospice facility. Graveside funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 22, 2013, at the Peace Chapel at Trinity Memorial Park with Rick Cunningham, minister of 14th and Main Church of Christ, officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday, June 21, 2013, at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home.
She was born May 28, 1923, in Coahoma, Texas, and married Cecil Peurifoy on Nov. 24, 1949, in Big Spring. He preceded her in death July 31, 2002.
Natalie graduated from Big Spring High School. She received her degree from Abilene Christian College and taught at West Ward for several years. She was a member of 14th and Main Church of Christ.
Survivors include one son, Rick Peurifoy of Big Spring; two daughters, Penny Lewis of Snyder and Hollie Peurifoy of Dallas; two grandsons; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Stella Smith; and two sisters, Eadie Falkner and Maxine Coleman.
The family suggests memorials be made to 14th and Main Church of Christ, 1401 Main St., Big Spring, Texas 79720.
