Crossroads area residents looking for some family fun this weekend while helping a worthy cause are invited to come to Holy Trinity Catholic Parish at 1009 Hearn Street for its Summer Festival.
Beginning at 11 a.m. Friday, food will be available for dine in or carry out. Plates of asado, carne guisada or gorditas are priced at $7 each. Food orders will also be available Saturday beginning at 11 a.m. For carryout, call 270-3393.
The festival will be held from 6 p.m. until 11 p.m. Saturday.
“It will feature live music by Sierra, as well as jumpers, a dunking booth, Bingo and many other carnival games for your family
and kids of all ages,” said Suzanne Haney, festival publicity chairman. “Come one, come all to the Summer Festival at Holy Trinity Catholic this Saturday for some great food, fabulous prizes and summer fun!”
There will be an opportunity Saturday evening to win various prizes, including a 42” flat screen television, gift cards from Walmart and H-E-B, an overnight stay at
the Hotel Settles, a summer pass for four to the Russ McEwen Family Aquatic Center and an $800 annual golf pass to the municipal course. All proceeds from the festival benefit Holy Trinity Catholic Parish.
“The festival at Holy Trinity this weekend provides some great family entertainment for Big Spring and Howard County residents. And since it’s Father’s Day weekend, bring Dad and spend time with him while benefiting a good cause,” said Haney,
