ORSAN — The splash is back.

Forsan Independent School District's swimming pool, which has offered a way for area residents to beat the heat for several years, is once again open for business.

The pool's annual summer run began Memorial Day and will last until August, FISD Superintendent Randy Johnson said.

Its hours of operation are from 1 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday through Saturday. Cost for in-district students and adults is $1 daily, while out-of-district students and adults will be charged $2. Season passes are $30 for individuals and $50 for families. The pool can also be reserved for private parties.
