Ila Blanche Moore, 87, of Big Spring, Texas, died Friday, Dec. 6, 2013 in a local hospital. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2013, at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel.

She was born Aug. 1, 1926, in Stephenville, Texas and married Ronald E. “Mutt” Moore July 26, 1947, in Big Spring. He preceded her in death March 10, 2008.
She was a longtime resident of Big Spring and was the snack bar manager at Runnels Junior High School for many years.

Survivors include one daughter, Tonia Moore Ollerton and husband Jim of Uvalde, Texas; one son, Jerry Dale Moore and wife Tashia of Big Spring; one step-daughter, Cynthia Kay of San Angelo; three sisters, Wanda Wells of Fort Worth,Texas, Sybil Willborn of Brownwood, Texas and Jessie Dillingham if Granbury; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents Jess A. and Mattie Cowden Lawson; one brother Ervin Lawson; and one sister, Bernice Lawson.
