Investigators search landfill in Big Spring

February 23, 2011

A search of the Big Spring Landfill Tuesday by law enforcement officials failed to turn up new evidence in the case of missing 13-year-old Hailey Dunn, the Colorado City teen who has been missing nearly two months now.

The Big Spring Police Department, along with investigators from other law enforcement officials from the surrounding area, used dogs to search the facility for anything tied to the girl's disappearance.

Investigators have previously searched landfills in Colorado City, Abilene and Snyder. However, law enforcement officials have not indicated if anything related to the case was found in those searches.
