Jacinto Hilario Jr., 71, died Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2014, at his residence. Vigil services will be at 7 p.m. Saturday at Myers & Smith Chapel. Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church.

He was born May 25, 1942, in Big Spring to Pilar and Jacinto Hilario Sr. He married Dora Cervantes Nov. 25, 1972, in Big Spring. He was a lifelong resident of Howard County, was self-employed and was a Catholic.

He is survived by his wife Dora Hilario of Big Spring; five daughters Linda Herrera, Dianne Carmona, Peggy Hilario and Jessica Hilario, all of Big Spring; and Christine Hilario of Amarillo, Texas; one son Jacinto HIlario III of Big Spring; two brothers, Lorenzo Hilario of Chowchilla, Calif. and Robert Hilario of Sand Springs, Texas; four sisters, Concepcion Viera of Tularosa, N.M., Florenda Lopez of Dalhart, Texas, Cella Rodriguez of Chowchilla, Calif. and Margarita Salinas of Ashburn, N.C.; and 15 grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Anselmo HIlario in 2012 and Rudy Hilario in 2013.
