Jacob Anthony Arguello, 9, of Coahoma, died Sunday, Nov. 13, 2011, at his residence. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday at Myers & Smith Funeral Home. Memorial services will be at 4 p.m. Friday, Nov. 18, 2011, at First Baptist Church of Big Spring with the Rev. Tom Koger, pastor of First Presbyterian Church of Coahoma, officiating.

Jacob was born on Nov. 18, 2001, in Fort Worth, Texas to Amanda Lowe Arguello and Mark Arguello. He lived most of his life in Coahoma. He was in the fourth grade at Coahoma Elementary. His favorite hobbies included baseball, football, basketball and fishing. He will be remembered as having a good personality as he made friends very easily. He lived his life to the fullest.

Jacob is survived by his father, Mark Arguello of Coahoma; his mother, Amanda Arguello of Fort Worth; four sisters, Haley Arguello of Coahoma, and Gabby Arguello, Hanna Mendez and Addison Mendez, all of Fort Worth; his grandparents, Santos Arguello of Coahoma, Pamela and David Elmore of Fort Worth, and Darrell and Cheryl Lowe of Newark, Texas; and his uncles, Gene Arguello and wife Cherrie of Big Spring, and Isaac Arguello of Coahoma.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Petra Arguello ,and his uncle Darrell Lowe, Jr.
