James Corbett 'J.C.' Abbott

James Corbett “J.C.” Abbott, 61, formerly of Big Spring, Texas, died Thursday, April 26, 2012, in Wichita Falls, Texas.

The family selected arrangements with cremation.

Arrangements are entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home of Bowie.
J.C. was born Dec. 17, 1950, to Peat and Dolores (Creel) Abbott in San Antonio, Texas. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. J.C. worked in general construction.

He is survived by his daughter, Renee Abbott of Henrietta; four brothers, Charles Abbott of Bellevue, Timothy Abbott of Wichita Falls, Robert Corneilous of Springtown and Harvey Scott of Dalhart; four sisters, Donna Cantwell of Henrietta, Anna Martel Gill of Vashti, Elaine Rodgers of Henrietta and Tammy Sodan of Henrietta; and numerous nieces and nephews.
