Graveside services for James Rogers, 63, of Brownwood, Texas, formerly of Big Spring, will be held 11 a.m.. Tuesday, June 26, 2012, at the Greenleaf Cemetery under the direction of Heartland Funeral Home. The family will receive friend from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.. Monday at the funeral home.

Mr. Rogers passed away Sunday, June 24, 2012, at Abilene Regional Medical Center.

He was born on July 31, 1948, in Dallas to Dee Lawson and Margaret Frances Pierce Rogers. He was a retired truck driver and had lived in Brownwood for the past 10 years. He previously lived in Big Spring.

Survivors include his son, True Rogers and wife Marci of Midland, Mich.; two sisters, Nancy Whitwell of Austin, and Carrol Weathermon of Brownwood, Texas; two grandchildren; and a niece and nephew.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Sharon Rogers.
