Janice Wilson, 58, of Big Spring died Tuesday August 20, 2013, at her residence. Memorial services will be 4 p.m. Saturday at Baptist Temple Church.

She was born Oct. 22, 1954, in Anderson, Ind., to Leanna and Paul Hunter. She married Richard "Rick" Wilson July 28, 1983, in Gatesville, Texas. She was a homemaker but had also been a church secretary and secretary for her husband's construction business. She moved to Big Spring Jan. 1, 2012, from Copperas Cove, Texas. She was a member of Baptist Temple Church.

She is survived by her husband, Rick Wilson of Big Spring; three children, Richard West of Copperas Cove, Heidi Merki and husband Tim of Big Spring and Bradley Wilson of Copperas Cove; one brother, Steve Hunter of Florida; one sister, Sharon Feathers of Tennessee; four grandchildren, Bendigo Merki and Josiah Merki, both of Big Spring, and Alannah West and Shianne West, both of Copperas Cove.

In addition to her parents, Paul and Leanna, she is preceded in death by two brothers, Gary Hunter and Terry Hunter.
