Jean Bassett, 75, of Big Spring died Monday, May 23, 2011, at her residence. The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday at Myers & Smith Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 28, 2011, at Myers & Smith Funeral Home with the Rev. Elwin Collom, pastor of Hillcrest Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will follow at Trinity Memorial Park.
