Jerelene Bell, 89, of Big Spring died Sunday, March 18, 2012, at Parkview Nursing Home. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 24, 2012, at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with Elder William T. Hickman officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. Friday, March 23, 2012, at the funeral home.

Jerelene was born Sept. 14, 1922, in Pittsburg, Texas, to Augusta Turner and Arthur Bell. She lived for a short time in Levelland before moving to Big Spring to be close to her brother.

Jerlene attended Mt. Bethel Baptist Church and the Senior Center until her health declined.

She is survived by her brother, the Rev. J.B. Hardeman of Big Spring; four nieces; one nephew; two great-nieces; three great-nephews; four great-great-nieces; one great-great-nephew; and many friends.
