Jeremy Acuff, 36, of Big Spring went to be with Yeshua Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2012. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 8, 2012, at Myers & Smith Chapel with Joe Hernandez officiating. Burial will be at Mount Olive Memorial Park.
Jeremy was born July 11, 1976, in Lamesa, Texas. He has been a lifetime resident of Big Spring. He worked in the oilfield most of his adult life.
He is survived by his wife, Shayna Acuff ; one son, Jack Waddell; and a daughter, Molly Waddell, all of Big Spring; his parents, Debbie and Terry Chamness of Big Spring and Ricky and Cyndi Acuff of Lubbock; one brother, Joshua Acuff of New York; his sister, P.J. Westmoreland and husband Bobby of Dallas; his aunt, Millie Armstrong and fiancĂ©, Vic Hutchinson of Big Spring; two uncles, David Armstrong and wife Sheila and Wendell Armstrong and fiancĂ© Marissa Adams, all of Big Spring; two nieces, Sarah and Leah Westmoreland; and two nephews, Mathew and Luke Westmoreland.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Wanda and Ike Wasson; and one uncle, John B. Armstrong.
Pallbearers will be Caleb Wasson, John B. Armstrong, Wade Welch, Michael Bishop, Austin Bishop and Daniel Munoz. Honorary pallbearer will be Andrew Armstrong.
