Services for Jesse Perez Martinez, 79, of Burnet will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013, at the Hill Country Fellowship Church with Pastor Rodney McGee officiating.

Jesse was born Sept. 14, 1933. in New Braunfels, Texas, to Samuel and Cuca Perez Martinez and died Feb. 10, 2013, at his home.

He was carpenter by trade and worked for Hoover Builders for many years.

He married Ernestina Luevano on May 27, 1952, in Big Spring, Texas.

He is survived by his wife, Tina Martinez; sons, Johnny Martinez and family, Jesse Martinez and family, Robert Martinez and family and Jimmy Martinez and family; daughters, Rosie Ornellas and family, Bea Tumlinson and family and Margie Carr and family; 20 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandson, Daniel Martinez.
