Jessie Henry

Jessie Henry, 61, of Big Spring, died thursday, Nov. 14, 2013, at his residence after a short battle with leukemia. The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

He was born Nov. 19, 1951, in Big Spring, Texas and married Karen Daniels Feb. 14, 1975, in Big Spring.
Jessie was a lifelong resident of Big Spring and worked in the oil fields all his life. He was currently working for R.H. Well Service. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed traveling the back roads and watching westerns and war history movies.

Survivors include his wife, Karen Henry of Big Spring; three sons, Murphy Henry and Russell Henry and wife, Stephanie, all of Big Spring, and Ssgt. Steven Henry and wife, Rachel, of Fort Campbell, Ky.; grandchildren, Karissa Henry of Raeford, N.C., Logan Henry of Big Spring and Jackson Smith, Nolen Henry, Griffin Henry and Collin Henry, all of Fort Campbell, Ky.; a sister, Barbara Kinard of Big Spring; and his mother-in-law, JoNell Daniels of Big Spring.
