Jimmy Garrard, 38, of Big Spring died Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013, at Scenic Mountain Medical Center. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday at Myers & Smith Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Mount Olive Memorial Park with the Rev. Eddie Prince officiating.

He was born Feb. 25, 1974, in Big Spring. He was an auto mechanic, a lifetime resident of Big Spring and a member of Grace Fellowship.

He is survived by four sons, Jimmy Garrard of Big Spring, Nathan Garrard of Tulsa, Okla., and Travis Garrard and Timothy Garrard, both of Big Spring; two daughters, Amanda Garrard and Tandie Payne, both of Big Spring; mother, Frances Reagan and husband Robert of Big Spring; father, Lenard Garrard and wife Jo of Anna; nine brothers, Lynn Garrard and Mike Garrard, both of Sherman, Rick Garrard of Amarillo, Jay Haley of Marshall, J. D. Garrard of Anna, Rodney Garrard of Vernon, Danny Garrard of West Minister, J.R. Garrard of Big Spring and Calvin Garrard of Seminole; three sisters, April Haley of Mt. Pleasant, Sarah Haley of Birmingham and Brenda Lisa Perez of Del Rio; step-sister, Angela Dodd of Clyde; four grandchildren; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
