Joe Lozano Jr., 61, of Big Spring died Sunday, Jan. 20, 2013, in a Midland hospital. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, Jan. 25, 2013, at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel.

He was born Aug. 11, 1951, in Austin, Texas, and moved to Big Spring in 1958. Joe had worked for the Big Spring State Hospital and at Branham's Furniture. He was a member of Iglesia Bautista Le Fe.

Survivors include his wife, Irma Lozano of Big Spring; his children, Lisa Lamb of Fort Worth, Victoria Warren of Midland, Anastasia Lozano of Big Spring, Gary Lozano, Jake Garcia and Adrianna Garcia, all of San Antonio and Joe Lozano of Irving; his mother, Natalia Garcia of Uvalde; five brothers, Benny Lozano of Austin, Tony Lozano of Tomball, Phillip Lozano of Hobbs, N.M,, Roland Lozano of Austin and Geno Lozano; six sisters, Lupe Mendez of Bryan, Cynthia Lucio, Cheryl Lozano, Patsy Garza and Melinda Ramos, all of Austin, and Theresa Sanchez of San Marcos, Calif.; and 13 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joe E. Lozano, and one brother.
