Joe Molina Ledesma

Joe Molina Ledesma, 50, of Odessa, formerly of Big Spring died Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2012, at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa, Texas. Prayer services were at 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 16, 2012, at Myers & Smith Chapel. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Myers & Smith Chapel. Burial will follow in Trinity Memorial Park.

He was born July 12, 1962, in Spur, Texas, to Maria and Alfredo Ledesma. He had been a resident of Big Spring for most of his life. He married Gabriella Salmeron. He was a painter by trade and a Catholic.

He is survived by his wife, Gabriella Ledesma of Odessa; seven daughters, Erica Ledesma, JoAnn Ledesma, Joanie Ledesma, Jo Lynn Ledesma, Jo Lavonne Ledesma, Josie Ledesma and Baby Jo Ledesma; one son, John Anthony Galaviz of Big Spring; seven brothers: H.L. Ledesma, Fernando Ledesma, Alfredo Ledesma Jr., Louis Ledesma, Jessie Ledesma, Lupe Ledesma and Raul Ledesma; five sisters, Gloria DelGado, Mary Edwards, Sandy McClusky, Janie Talavera and Elda Bernal; and 30 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Silvia Ledesma.
