FORT WORTH — Juana Sylvia "Wito" Alvarez, 69, passed away Friday, March 14, 2014.

Funeral: 11:30 a.m. Monday in Mount Olivet Chapel. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Rosary: 5 p.m. Sunday in Mount Olivet Chapel.

Juana was born March 12, 1945, in Big Spring. She was preceded in death by her father, Leonardo Garcia; mother, Tiodosa Rodriquez; and sister, Precilia Marquez.

Survivors: Husband, Rafael Alvarez; sisters, Hope Aleman and husband, Jimmy, Socorro Casares and husband, Jose, Connie Torres, Rosa Doporto and husband, Louis; daughters, Janie Saldana, Rosa Alvarez, Sandra Cepeda and husband, Frank, Kathy Alvarez; sons, Paul Alvarez and wife, Ruby, Rafael Alvarez Jr.; 18 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
