Juanita R. Marquez, 76, of Big Spring died Monday, June 17, 2013, at Parkview Nursing Center. Vigil services will be held Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Myers & Smith Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with burial at Mount Olive Memorial Park.

She was born June 26, 1936, to Margarita and Pablo Ramirez in Big Spring and was a lifetime resident of Big Spring. She worked for the Coahoma School Cafeteria for 35 years and was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church.

She is survived by one daughter, Mary Arguello and husband David of Big Spring; one son, Marcelino Chavez and wife Norma of Lenorah; 12 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; six brothers, Cosme Ramirez of Big Spring, Julian Ramirez of Big Spring, Joe Ramirez and Gilbert Ramirez, both of Fort Worth, Emilio Ramirez of Odessa and Elido Ramirez of Big Spring; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two husbands, Juan Chavez and David Marquez; and one brother, Pablo Ramirez Jr.
