Julia C. Bolton, 84, of Big Spring, formerly of Abilene went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 9, 2013, at her residence. No services are being held at this time.

Julia was born March 23, 1928, in George West, Texas, to Alfonso and Ynocencia (Martinez) Charles.

Julia had just moved to Big Spring from Abilene. She also had lived in Lamesa. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include one son, Joe Charles of Abilene; three daughters, Maria Idalia Munoz and husband Eddie of Waxahachie, Mary Myers and husband David of Bloomington and Liz Pedroza and husband Pete of Abilene; two brothers, Jose Charles and wife Juanita of Alice and Domingo Charles and wife Sonia of Edinburg; three sisters, Elosia Rodriguez and husband Sabas of Victoria, Alicia Torres and husband Narciso of Alice and Patsy Chancy of Big Spring; 48 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers, Gilberto Charles and Ventura Charles.
