Justen Vogel

Justen Vogel, 39, of Midland, formerly of Big Spring died Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2013, in a truck accident south of Midland. Memorial services will be at 4 p.m. Saturday in the chapel at the farm of Teen Challenge of the Permian Basin, 6901 SCR 1200, Midland, Texas, with the Rev. Darrell Trout of Harvest Time Assembly of God Church officiating. Friends are invited to join the family for a meal and fellowship following the service.

He was born Sept. 20, 1973, in Johnson City, Texas. He lived most of his adult life in Big Spring. Justen was a devoted volunteer to the ministry of Teen Challenge. He was a member of the Harvest Time Assembly of God Church.

He is survived by three daughters, Kaylee Johns and Kourtnee White, both of Carlsbad, N.M., and Paige Vogel of Wimberly; a son, Case Vogel of Wimberly; mother, Donna King of Big Spring; father, Donald Vogel of Steamboat Springs, Colo.; three brothers, Colby Vogel of Fountain Valley, Calif., Zac Leslie of Palestine, Texas and Beau Vogel of Steamboat Springs, Colo.; two sisters, Courtney Vogel of Steamboat Springs, Colo. and Riley King of Big Spring; grandparents, George and Nelda Vogel of Stonewall, Texas; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Ty Murrill and grandparents, Druie and Retha Maner.
