Kathlyn M. Trevey

Kathlyn M. Trevey (Kaye) died Sept. 19, 2011, at Parkview Nursing Home in Big Spring, Texas. Kaye was born Nov. 5, 1921, in Scurry County, Texas, to Lackey Scott and Alpha M. Trevey. She lived most of her life in the Snyder, Big Spring and Midland areas.

In 1998, Kaye went to live in the Royal Neighbor Fraternal Organization’s home in Davenport, Iowa. She returned to West Texas in 2004. She was a long time member of the Royal Neighbors, the Rebekahs and served in leadership in local as well as state levels of both organizations.

She is survived by her nieces, Joyce Logan of Big Spring, Kay Kolb of Midland, Betty Jones of Odessa and Alice Barron of Marshall; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A memorial service is scheduled for Oct. 1, 2011, in Snyder.
